Equine Connections
Ground-based equine-assisted therapy to support confidence, connection, and emotional growth.
Equine Connections is our equine-assisted therapy and wellbeing program, grounded in evidence-informed practices and designed to support emotional, social, and personal development through guided interaction with horses. Sessions are delivered by a qualified therapy team through individual and small-group formats tailored to each participant.
A structured approachThe program is delivered in six-session blocks, with participants attending weekly sessions built around their individual goals and needs.
Each participant begins with an intake assessment, allowing the therapy team to develop a personalised plan tailored to their goals, priorities and areas of focus.
Who it’s for
Equine Connections is open to children and adults of all ages, and may support individuals experiencing anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, autism spectrum conditions, developmental concerns, or difficulties with confidence and communication.
The program provides a calm, supportive environment where participants can build trust, confidence, and connection at their own pace.
How it works
Sessions are ground-based and non-riding, focusing on guided interaction with the horses through observation, handling, movement, and practical activities.
Most sessions are delivered individually, with select small-group opportunities offered throughout the year. Sessions typically take place once per week and last approximately 30 to 45 minutes, depending on individual requirements and therapeutic goals.
