Equine Connections
A structured, small-group program using horse interaction to build confidence, resilience, and self-awareness.
Equine Connections is our equine-assisted therapy and wellbeing program, delivered through six-week group cohorts designed to support emotional, social, and personal development.
A structured approachThe program runs in small group cohorts over six-week blocks, following the school term calendar. Each cohort is guided to allow participants to build familiarity, trust and confidence over time. We typically run five to six cohorts per year, supporting more than 20 children annually.
Who it’s for
Equine Connections is open to children aged 6+ and beyond, with sessions designed to support a wide range of developmental, emotional and social needs.
Working in a group setting also encourages peer connection, shared experience and confidence-building in a natural, supportive environment.
How it works
Sessions are ground-based and non-riding, focusing on guided interaction with the horses through observation, interaction and practical activities.
Participants develop confidence, communication skills, emotional awareness and trust, often without feeling like traditional therapy.
